TOO MANY DEAD

In response to COVID-19, Australia was at the forefront of government overreach. State borders were locked down, flights into the country stopped, people were prevented from travelling, arrests were made because of “incitement” to protest, and doctors were threatened with de-registration if they provided opinions that were in opposition to those of the government.

For those who made it into the country (very few) quarantine camps (which the Queensland government called Wellcamp in some bizarre dystopian “new speak”) were established. People were prohibited from visiting gravely ill relatives and also forbidden from travelling interstate.

Draconian is not even a word that captures the overreach and terror inflicted by government health bureaucrats. All this was backed up by previously unused emergency biosecurity powers of state governments.

Churches and businesses were closed, and then, in dramatic overreach, experimental “vaccines” were mandated for the entire population. Doctors and nurses could not work in hospitals and medical practices unless they received the untested injections (and this is still the case in most Australian states).

Was there outcry and protest? No – there was mostly compliance and media support.

Australians, noted for their individualism and love of freedom, demonstrated their much vaunted anti-authoritarian character was only skin deep. They meekly complied with the government diktats, and the medical profession, in the main, fell into line under government threat.

Extraordinarily, government data indicates that 96.1% of the Australian population over 16 years of age, received the experimental COVID-19 “vaccination”. However, Australians aren’t completely stupid, and there seems to have been enough concern about the impact of the first two injections that only 68% of Australians over 16 yo received a third “vaccination”.

The ”vaccines” must have included some secret component that induced collective amnesia because most people have forgotten about the terror and medical tyranny inflicted by their governments. Australians even voted the most draconian state governments back into power, in a weird communal Stockholm syndrome.

Even today, after hundreds of scientific publications highlighting adverse events from the COVID-19 “vaccines”, they are still being promoted and required for any medical personnel to work in medical clinics or hospitals.

Most people that I talk to have friends and relatives who have suffered heart and blood problems, immunity disorders and neurological diseases, following the administration of the COVID-19 “vaccines”. Many of these are young people who previously were fit and healthy.

It has been acknowledged by some health authorities that the mRNA vaccines can cause pericarditis and myocarditis, but this information was initially hidden by the US Centers for Disease Control (CDC) when disease signals were first evident. However, authorities now say that these events are “rare”, which is not much succour for those with family members who have died or become debilitated.

Interestingly, while various Western governments and health bureaucrats spoke against “misinformation” about the coronavirus and the COVID-19 “vaccines”, the governments themselves were hiding information about the origins of the “China virus” and the damage from the “vaccines”. It has been shown recently that in collusion with (or at least government pressure on) Big Tech, governments censored information that indicated that the “vaccines” were not safe and effective.

US congressional representative Jim Jordan (Republican, Ohio) revealed new information this week that, “top Biden staffers were determined to quash online voices who disagreed with pandemic-related lockdowns and vaccine policies and to remove content that questioned the administration’s insistence that the virus did not come from a lab in Wuhan, China. White House officials browbeat top social media outlets to play their part. “

The collusion between government and Big Tech is being investigated by the US Supreme Court in a current case: Murthy v Missouri. The Supreme Court will hand down its decision in June which will be a hallmark in relation to the rights to freedom of speech in the US.

It is already evident that certain online information that was deemed “misinformation” turned out to be true. Now, in another turn of events, the UK Telegraph has reported that in early 2021 the intelligence services in five countries (the Five Eyes – US, UK, Australia, Canada and New Zealand) were informed that the coronavirus did not originate in a Wuhan wet market but most likely resulted from a lab leak. Tony Diver, the UK Telegraph’s reporter in Washington wrote  this week:

“Five Eyes intelligence-sharing nations were convened in January 2021 to discuss the possibility of a “lab leak”, as the US warned that China had covered up research on coronaviruses and military activity at a laboratory in Wuhan.

In a previously unreported phone call in January 2021, Mike Pompeo presented evidence that supported the lab leak theory to his counterparts, Dominic Raab, then the Foreign Secretary, and representatives from Canada, New Zealand and Australia. Speaking to The Telegraph, two Trump administration officials accused Mr Raab and the UK government of ignoring the lab leak theory because of resistance from government scientists who supported the explanation that the virus had jumped between animals and humans.”

This information was inconvenient for Western public health authorities and the WHO, who were “all in” on the Wuhan wet market origin, and so the information was suppressed. President Trump was correct in calling it the “China virus”.

Unfortunately the US doesn’t have clean hands and the virus seems to have been modified with financial support and research backing from the US National Institutes of Health (NIH). This is a very murky area because US Defense Department money is also involved in supporting “gain of function” research undertaken by the Wuhan Institute for Virology.

However, these stories demonstrate that “misinformation” is the province of government rather than various “tin foil hat conspiracists”.

Too Many Dead – Australian Medical Professional Society (AMPS)

In the US, Dr Naomi Wolf and Mr Ed Dowd have published best-selling books demonstrating the dangers associated with the mRNA vaccines.

A recent interview with Ed Dowd captured how dramatic the situation is in the US, in response to adverse vaccine events following COVID-19 “vaccination”

“The bottom line is this. There were a tremendous amount of excess deaths that really peaked in 2021, then started coming down again in 22 and 23. The excess death toll since the vaccination is that about 1.1 million Americans excessively died, and 300,000 of those were between the ages of 15 and 64. That compares to 2020, where 458,000 people died and that was mostly older Americans. Only 27 percent were between the ages of 15 and 64. That shifted in 2021 to about 47 percent.

In fact, the absolute number in 2020 was 124,000 between the ages of 15 and 64. That went up to 215,000, a 74 percent increase from 2020 to 2021. That’s striking to me, because we were told the virus mostly killed older Americans with comorbidities. Why then was there a mix shift in 2021? Because an equal amount of Americans died excessively each year, but we then shifted to almost half of those Americans being of working age.”

A recent report from the UK cited this week by Jeff Childers, in his Coffee and COVID 2024 substack

provides information about the dramatic rise in claims from the Vaccine Damage Payment Scheme (VDPS).

“In 2019, the year before the pandemic, there were 27 total VDPS claims for all vaccines combined. In 2020, claims even dropped down to 26 for all vaccines. But by 2022, it spiked to 480  — twenty times the previous year’s claims. Last year in 2023, claims multiplied again, about ten times to 4,008. And so far this year — in just the first four months — the Daily Mail reported the VDPS has received over eleven thousand claims.”

These are remarkable statistics that seem to be ignored by public health authorities and the media.

Now, a group of medical professionals in Australia – the Australian Medical Professional Society, a non-political body representing doctors and other health professions – has just published a new book – “Too Many Dead”.

In an overview of the 467 page book, they write:

“Australians are dying at disturbing rates, beginning in 2021. Political and medical authorities continue to ignore this. The Australian Senate voted against holding an inquiry into this excess mortality, but independent, committed Australian medical people have conducted an investigation. This book shows that even the inadequate systems of pharmacovigilance systems of global regulators reveal alarming numbers of adverse events, disability and death.

Australia is in the midst of a health crisis, and this analysis indicates it is iatrogenic. Too many people are dead and harmed. Australians deserve accountability, transparency and justice”.

As well as Australian authors, the book has contributions from a number of well-known international experts including: Ed Dowd, Jessica Rose, Tess Lawrie, Aseem Malhotra and Norman Fenton. The book is divided into 6 parts:

1. This is real, and it’s happening;

2. Poorly tested – they should have known;

3. Lack of evidence leads to policy failures;

4. Australian data – with poor pharmacovigilance, the safety signals go unrecognized;

5. Global excess death – it’s not just Australia;

6. From policy failure to iatrogenic crisis.

In their conclusion, the authors write:

“On the day this book was launched, AMPS had access to well over three thousand five hundred studies casting extreme doubt on the integrity of the COVID-19 injections, and pointing to untold damage from them. ….They offer vast scientific evidence about the inappropriateness, the damage and the danger found in the Australian government’s slavish adaptation and succumbing to what can be distilled into the demands of the world’s biggest pharmaceutical companies. Drug-company medicine has overtaken the medical institutions, and rammed its methods home to the point where those students trained in them are finally ejected into practice believing in pharmaceutical products to the extent of religious evangelism. …

For three years Australia succumbed to the will of corporate ideologues in big pharma, big media, big finance, and big government who seem to prioritise profit over people. This enslavement, and it is nothing less, may help to explain these high excess death rates being witnessed now at more than 15 per cent above baseline mortality. Put another way, AMPS and all ethical and informed doctors are horrified at the ten or twenty or thirty thousand excess deaths in this country in the time since March, 2021. Australian and other Western data show a mass casualty event; peculiarly, the higher figures are occurring in the countries that are highly injected, but our political and medical authorities seem to think there is nothing worth scrutiny. Now, with this book, it has been probed…..

Australian people were tracked, traced, quarantined, shamed, and finally threatened into submitting to a vaccination-only strategy. On the streets to protest they were shot with rubber bullets. Governmental figures have shown how these gene-based pharmaceuticals were ineffective from the start. Now the health system continues to advocate perpetual boosters, which in themselves and by their repetition show how incompetent the novel vaccine platform is in the protection of patients from contracting COVID. The public health system appears to have been used against a trusting population for what seems financial benefit in terms of corporate profits, and all with the assistance of misinformed politicians. Australians have a right to feel violated. If medical regulators believe their job is primarily to protect the government public health messaging rather than to protect the public then the corruption of medicine is complete.”

The book needs to be on the shelves and in the waiting room of every Australian doctor (or at least in the hands of their patients!). Undoubtedly, the book will be suppressed, but one hopes that it is read by medical practitioners, who must be wondering about why there is such a procession of previously healthy young Australians presenting to their rooms or hospitals.

Pro-Hamas Protestors Funded by Biden Donors

With the turmoil on US campuses which has spread across the West, many people are asking important questions such as: where is the money and organization coming from? This week, Breitbart News reported:

“Two of the main organizers behind protests at Columbia University and on other campuses are Jewish Voice for Peace and IfNotNow. Both are supported by the Tides Foundation, which is seeded by Democratic megadonor George Soros as well as the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and it in turn supports numerous small nonprofits that work for social change. (Gates did not return a request for comment, and Soros declined to comment.)

Another notable Democratic donor whose philanthropy has helped fund the protest movement is David Rockefeller Jr., who sits on the board of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund. In 2022, the fund gave $300,000 to the Tides Foundation; according to nonprofit tax forms, Tides has given nearly $500,000 over the past five years to Jewish Voice for Peace, which explicitly describes itself as anti-Zionist.

Several other groups involved in pro-Palestinian protests are backed by a foundation funded by Susan and Nick Pritzker, heir to the Hyatt Hotel empire — and supporters of Biden and numerous Democratic campaigns, including $6,600 to the Biden Victory Fund a few months ago and more than $300,000 during the 2020 campaign.”

The Biden administration seems to be caught midstream with a foot in both the pro-Hamas and pro-Israel boats. Similar fancy footwork is being seen by politicians in Australia and the UK, who are worried about losing the Muslim vote in their constituencies. In the UK, the Labour leader, Sir Keir Starmer, has made a grovelling apology for “not listening” to Hamas-supporting Muslims and now a key Muslim group has issued 18 “demands”.

What is certain is that the pro-Palestinian movement has been highly organized and funded. The aim is not simply finding a homeland for the Palestinians but the destruction of democratic Israel and the West by pro-Marxist radicals funded by various left-wing foundations. The protests have all the hallmarks of the Black Lives Matter protests in 2020, that were organized by personnel who admitted that they were “trained Marxists”.

The West, having cast aside the old enemy of communism, is now caught in a pincer movement by the Marxists and Islamists, and seems incapable of defending itself.

The Great Replacement Theory is No Longer a Theory

Eva Vlaardingerbroek is a young firebrand Dutch political commentator who spoke at the recent CPAC meeting in Hungary. She outlined the challenges facing the UK and Europe resulting from the extraordinary influx of migrants over the last few years.

She noted the large number of violent incidents in Europe and the UK just in the previous week and that these incidents were related to the link between mass migration and crime. Eva shared the following insight:

“I know one thing for sure, and that is that if nothing changes, if we don't start to seriously fight for our continent, for our religion, for our people, our countries, then this time that we live in will go down in history as the time in which Western nations no longer had to get invaded by hostile armies in order to be conquered. This time will then go down in history as the period in which the invader was actively invited in by a corrupt elite, and not only did this corrupt elite invite the enemy in, they made the native population pay for it too.”

She went on to provide some statistics:

“The native white Christian European population is being replaced at an ever-accelerating rate. Let me back this up for you with some statistics from my home country.
Let's take Amsterdam, the capital. Amsterdam currently consists of 56 per cent migrants. The Hague, 58 per cent migrants.
Rotterdam, almost 60 per cent migrants. And, of course, most of these immigrants come from non-Christian, non-Western, African and Middle Eastern countries. Conclusion, the Dutch population is already outnumbered in the majority of our cities.

But let's look onwards. London, 54 per cent migrants. Again, conclusion, native population outnumbered.
Brussels, colour me shocked, 70 per cent migrants. Conclusion, native population majorly outnumbered. And other Europeans will, of course, follow suit soon if they haven't already.
So, I'm going to draw the forbidden conclusion here. The Great Replacement Theory is no longer a theory. It's reality.”

Eva’s solution: “the totalitarian institution of the European Union needs to come down”.

She makes a good case for a drastic solution. However, given the difficulties that Great Britain has had in leaving the European Union (and they are still haven’t escaped), this will be almost impossible to achieve.

In France, Pro-Hamas Protest is a Crime

France has one of the largest populations of Muslims in Europe, around 10% of France’s population of 65 million. French authorities, who are committed to maintaining a separation between religion and the State, have had their hands full with opposition to face coverings and preventing the implementation of Sharia law.

In contrast to other countries in the West that have faced large pro-Palestinian protests, French courts have drawn a line in the sand. The Wall Street Journal reported  on 4^th May that:

“Courts have ruled that public speech condoning the Oct. 7 attack or legitimizing Hamas as a resistance movement amounts to condoning terrorism—a crime under French law, punishable by up to seven years in prison. French prosecutors are investigating politicians on the far-left, union officials and hundreds of other people for allegedly condoning terrorism and inciting antisemitism since October. 

The clampdown is squeezing France Unbowed, the far-left opposition party that fiercely criticizes Israel and has emerged as a champion of pro-Palestinian protests at colleges across France. The party’s president in the French legislature and one of its candidates in the coming European elections were summoned by the police this week on suspicion of publicly condoning terrorism because of statements they made in the aftermath of the Hamas attack.”

France has recognized that there is a threat to its way of life, in a way that the rest of the West has not. It is challenging to find the line between legitimate freedom of speech and promotion of terrorism, particularly when various Islamic “experts” are advising governments and the police. French police are at least prepared to take a stand.

The Bug in Our Thinking

Tim Price writes an interesting weekly substack with commentary on investing and society more broadly. This week, Tim has a great piece and I recommend subscribing.

The bug in our thinking

Tim’s post foccuses on “the bug in our thinking”, the title of an important recent book by Dr. Hugh Willbourn. Tim quotes from a recent essay by Dr Willbourn – A Vote for the Tories is a vote for Labour is a Wasted Vote:

“I have never worried about climate change because I was sure that humans would do something irredeemably stupid long before any possible consequences of a small change in the atmosphere.  And Lo, here they are doing countless irredeemably stupid things all at once.  From a vast and expanding field of idiotic activities let us mention four forces, (why not call them … horsemen?) which are wreaking havoc in the UK.

• Horseman #1 is Net Zero destroying our economy and infrastructure.

• Horseman #2 is the mainstream media and its fact-checking handmaidens undermining intelligent debate and national integrity.

• Horseman #3 is the magnificent international vaccination campaign which has become inexplicably linked to coincidence fairies and a vast increase in disability and all-cause mortality.

• Horseman #4 is the DEI agenda propagated through HR training and the internet to destroy free discourse and local communities.

 But these gallant horsemen are saving us from fictious enemies.  There is no hard evidence of climate emergency.   The force that is immediately destroying the environment and impoverishing the nation is the ideology of Net Zero. There is no army of far-right conspirators.   The force that is generating misinformation is the mainstream media. The great unacknowledged villain of the last three years was OFCOM. Covid was a threat to the elderly and infirm, not the bulk of the population.  The increase in heart disease, excess mortality and resurgent cancers is caused solely by coincidence fairies. The vast majority of people in the UK are neither racist nor prejudiced.   The forces that are creating division and resentment are wokery and DEI.

As these horsemen canter across our green and pleasant land, a plethora of commentators have been pointing out that Western society and institutions are decaying at an alarming pace.  ….

If the current authorities are left in charge we are doomed.”

I think that Tim and Hugh are correct. If current authorities are left in charge, we are doomed. Unfortunately, it is difficult to see a correction to the current trajectory. It feels as though we are trapped in some weird cult, where despite all the facts that demonstrate that the policies deployed are causing the problems we are seeing – eg civil unrest, transgender ideology, energy shortages, education failure; the cult leaders persist in leading us toward the abyss or even leading the abyss toward us! There are signs that people are starting to wake up, but it may be too late.

There is a great quote from Dr Iain McGilcrhist, that Tim includes in his post and summarizes the problem that we face:

“Once the integrity founded in an intuitive moral sense is lost, a society becomes like a building that has lost its integrity and needs to be shored up with ever more scaffolding. Now there has to be a law for everything, yet crime escalates..”

How Putin’s Gas Empire Crumbled

When Russia invaded Ukraine in February 2022, it seemed to have cured the global challenge of COVID-19. Suddenly there were no more stories about COVID-19 but only stories about Ukraine and Russia.

Then the Russia-Ukraine focus was pushed into the shadows but the Israel-Hamas conflict in Gaza and now it is difficult to find any stories about the war in Ukraine in any of the mainstream media. Severe sanctions were imposed by the US and its allies on Russia and these sanctions were thought to be able to bring Russia to its knees. However, the Russian economy seems to have become stronger and Russia’s extraordinary energy reserves are providing a buffer against the Western sanctions.

Most commentators today do not believe that Ukraine can win the conflict but nonetheless, the US Congress has just approved a $60 billion aid package to buy more time for Ukraine and enrich key players. It will be interesting to see if there is ever an audit of funds.

However, it does appear that Russia is under pressure in relation to its gas reserves. A recent story in the UK Telegraph had the headline How Putin’s Gas Empire Crumble.

This may be wishful thinking but there are some facts that will be of interest to readers.

“Gazprom, the largely state-owned energy giant, has tumbled to its worst loss in a quarter of a century, losing 629bn roubles, equivalent to £5.5bn, last year, as its revenues dived by more than one quarter in rouble terms. 

It is the biggest loss in at least 25 years. The loss is a humiliation for the business and for the regime. Putin had thought the vast network of pipelines taking its gas into Europe had created an addiction which would force Western leaders to stand back and allow him to seize Ukraine, unwilling to wean themselves off the supply of energy.”

This is a complex story but you can’t help but think that those who have large energy reserves will be the winners in a future where the West has hamstrung itself by a commitment to “green energy” that can never supply future demand.

As Palestine Protests, the West is Devouring Itself

This article from Jake Wallis Simons in the UK Telegraph is a timely reminder that the current Palestinian protests are being orchestrated around the world, and have a wider context. Simons notes that many dark moments heralding significant changes in society begin in universities. He cites Germany in the 1920s and the Red Guards vanguard of students in Mao’s China in the 1960s. Simons writes:

“The phenomenon that I have come to call the new radicalism – “woke plus Islamism”– has long been brewing in those ivory towers. For years, people laughed it off. Then came October 7.

We know that the brains of these children have been addled by social media. According to Scott Galloway, a professor at New York University, TikTok offers “52 videos that are pro-Hamas or pro-Palestine for every one served on Israel”.

There are clearly a range of malevolent forces behind the campus protests, where the interest is not the plight of the Palestinians but rather the opportunity to foster division and social unrest. Peter Schweizer pointed this out a few days ago in a podcast where he outlined the role of the Chinese Communist Party in campus chaos. It is worthwhile listening to the 27 min explanation of China’s role in further undermining the US.

Mr Simons concludes his UK Telegraph article as follows:

“Overseas, we face an “axis of resistance” as Russia, China, Iran and authoritarian states form up together. At home, we face an axis of radicalism, with different factions devoted to race, climate change, transgenderism and Islamism rallying to the Palestinian flag. The “queers for Palestine” movement speaks volumes; this was never about real-life Palestine. It’s counter-cultural rebellion at home. 

But the idiocy of these people doesn’t make them less useful. Which brings me back to Gaza. Meeting with Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh last month, Iran’s supreme leader said: “We have, so far, successfully won the media and PR wars, and have managed to change public opinion across the globe. We must continue with this.” In November, Hezbollah leader Hassan Nasrallah said: “We must salute all those who took to the street in support and solidarity with the Palestinians, from all over the world.”

It is important that we see and understand the forces of evil that lie behind the pro-Palestinian movement, and the way that useful idiots on campus who chant “From the River to the Sea”, are being manipulated by Marxist groups to try to overthrow educational institutions and democracy itself.
